If this was your family, would you find it creepy, or cool?

James West cannot wait to go to the Tran family Thanksgiving dinner.
He's been receiving a number of emails organising the auspicious occasion, and was even requested to bring the canned corn.
The problem is that James lives in Sydney, and it's not his family.
The 28-year-old Australian said he has never met the family but, after accidentally being copied into the Tran family discussions through email for the past three years, feels like he knows all about them.
After initially thinking the emails were spam, he ignored them until he realised the senders had mistaken him for a James West the family were related to.
Instead of informing them of their mistake, James decided to read ahead of this year's celebrations, News Limited reported.
Now he wants to meet the family, and has put out a YouTube plea in the hope of tracking them down and getting an invite to Thanksgiving.
At one point, he even replied to the family asking what he should bring. One of the Tran family members, Martha, said "canned corn".
He began speculating about the structure of the family, believing he is married to a Tran. Through emails, he says he's discovered the other James West likes skiing and "my wife is pretty good looking".
He admitted in the video that it is a bit wrong, but claimed it has been "addictive".
"It's also a plea to the Tran family to say: Can I come to Thanksgiving? I'd really love to," he said in the video.
"All I need to know is where you live, who you are, and who the real James West is so I can forward him all of these emails that I've been getting.
"I know this is really creepy, but it's something I really want to do. I've got a few days to get the cash together before heading to America."
He told News Limited that he used the emails to track down addresses, and admits his actions could be seen as stalking.
"It's exactly like stalking, but this is where I’m going to depend on the Tran family to be kind and generous to me," he told News Limited.
"I haven't done anything wrong. All I've done is join the dots.
"From what I know about them and their emails, they seem pretty cool and modern so I hope they react well.
"I think most of them are from Florida and you know, Florida's a sunny place."
And he promises to bring the canned corn.
