Robbie Williams has reportedly said he is ready to rejoin 1990s British boyband sensation Take That.

"I'm in regular contact with them and it's looking more likely by the week. The lads all seem up for it. I think it would be fun," he told The Sun newspaper.

Williams quit the group in 1995 to launch a solo career, sparking a major feud with the other bandmates that lasted most of the next decade.

Take That re-formed without Williams in 2005 and have revived some of their old success.

Last year Williams announced they had all been playing together - but said he still had things to achieve on his own before an official reunion.

Williams told The Sun, however, that the group could get back together within months, adding: "Let's see what happens, but my head's in the right place, so the timing could be right if [bandmate] Gary [Barlow] calls."

Take That would be following a well-trodden path if they get back together, after a surge of nostalgia comebacks including the Spice Girls, the Police, the Sex Pistols, Blur, Spandau Ballet and Led Zeppelin.

Hmmm I dunno about this, how weird would it be with him back with TT ? Robbie's always been more superior so personally can't see it working, Robbie would own the stage, Gary would get jealous, Mark would wee with excitement and Jason and Howard would continue their ooooh's.

I'm all up for a robbie club gigs come back though :p

maybe he could team up with 911 and do butlins again, or do butlins full time like celine dion does caesars palace in vegas!!

gary said a couple of months back that he'd like robbie back..i don't think they would last long if he did come back though! They have had a good few hits without him and gary's ego is too big to share lead vocals with someone else...

i thought they always shared between robbie, gary and mark? with the other 2 blokes standin in the back? why would the reuinion be any different? surely one member would not sing all the lines?

Gary Barlow spent 10 years trying to get sole ownership of the microphone, I can't see how it would work.
