we flew from sydney to perth on monday. we were on the qantas A330. What a scary flight!!

The engine was quite noisy on take off, and when it got a good bit up in the air, the engines started to quieten down.....like get really really quiet. In fact, we thought the engines had cut out!! Talk about stress!! after a few seconds, the engines started to make noise again. we were totally shittin it.

this kept happening. every once in a while the engines would go really quiet as if they had stopped. i was never as relieved as when we were going in for the landing!! was bliss!


oh but then, some chinese man accused us of robbing his trolley at the baggage collection point!! bastard.

then some man robbed our bag and we had to run over and be like "hey thats our bag! gimme it back!". then, we got a taxi to our hostel and then went for a pint. I got a phone call. it was the taxi driver sayin we robbed his bag!! what a gimp! so we went back to the hostel to have him search thru our bags in the storage room to see if his was there. it wasnt! gobshite!

I hate it when planes do that, my stomach jumps and goes hot lol the engines do erm my uncle explained it to me once i can't remember what it is though, sometimes its just when the air flow stuff changes so they need to boost up a bit or whatever.

You notice it more in some planes than others.

ye that sounds just technical enough to be right.

luckily i wont be on any planes for the next few months anyway. Qantas have also gotten their reputation dragged through the mud recently with all their fuck ups. From planes crashing into each other on the tarmac, to engines falling off, to planes crashing all over the place, holes opening up in the side of the plane, and all sortsa other screw ups. at least the trolley dollies are nice!
