UK supermarket giant Tesco is due to open the first drive-thru store in the country.
Customers will be able to order groceries online and drive to the store to collect them at a designated time for a £2 ($3.12) charge.
The service was designed by its online business and is intended to appeal to those who are too busy to wait in for a two-hour delivery slot.
The pilot scheme will begin in Hertfordshire, southern England and later in two other locations in southern England. If the initiative is successful it will be rolled out across the country.
