Here is some more to add to the lists...

“You should sue your singing teacher”

"Did you really believe you could become the American Idol? Well, then, you're deaf."

"The look, it was like something out of the Addams Family."

"You look like one of those creatures that live in the jungle with those massive eyes."

"You were having fun. I'm not sure how much fun everyone at home was having."

"You sounded like Cher after she's been to the dentist."

Simon: "What normally happens when you sing in public, Deborah?"
Deborah: "I've had a few people cry."
Simon: "I can believe that."

"You are fabulous but it was the singing that was slightly off-putting."

‘If your lifeguard duties were as good as your singing, a lot of people would be drowning.'

‘If you win this competition, we will have failed.'

‘Oh, gosh, where do I start? I mean I'm not being rude but you look like the Incredible Hulk's wife.’

Hello,
In this thoroughly entertaining collection of acerbic put-downs, witty one-liners, blatantly honest appraisals of terrified contestants and even catty comments on his fellow judges, American Idol’s controversial big mouth speaks on subjects as diverse as music, dance, show business, political correctness, romance, fashion, himself and his trousers. Whether he’s telling a naïve hopeful that they sound like a kitten mewing, they look as if they’ve been dragged through a bush or are merely pleasant, safe and a little insipid, Cowell’s trademark comebacks are collected here for the first time. Covering the early years with insults to his family and schoolteachers, the jibes to first bosses at work, then the sharp retorts to aspiring stars on television and his critiques of the rich and famous, this book gathers his most well-known lines—and plenty of long-forgotten ones, too! With quotes from his admirers and enemies, and a section on how to speak fluent vitriol like the master, this is the ultimate handbook for getting ahead.

As Simon’s older brother, author and journalist Tony Cowell has had first-hand experience of Simon’s cheek, sarcasm and forked tongue. Tony worked with Simon on the biography I Don’t Mean to be Rude…

Thanks

Simon Cowell has quit X-Factor today apparently. I'm sure you'll be devastated!

With rumours that Cheryl Cole is to leave UK’s X Factor to take up a position judging on the US version of the show, an unlikely candidate has risen to replace her in the shape of The Prince of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne.

The ex-Black Sabbath front man who once described X Factor saying, “It’s about killing music to make light entertainment. It should be about music and talent but it's not”, has become a leading candidate to replace Cheryl on the show.

Sources have said that 62-year-old Ozzy, who also had a hugely successful solo career after leaving Sabbath, is still in talks about following in his wife Sharon’s footsteps (she left in 2007) as a judge on the show with The Sun being told "Ozzy would be a controversial choice but he can really bring something different to the show”.

It will be a very different panel on 2011’s version of X Factor with Simon Cowell now committing himself to the US version, leading to recent reports that Noel Gallagher refused the offer of a blank cheque to take over as a judge.

It would be interesting to see the reaction of Ozzy’s fans after the public backlash Steven Tyler received when the Aerosmith singer accepted a similar role on American Idol.
