Meet the stars of Dublin's answer to hit MTV show The Hills

MEET our answer to Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge and co.

Ireland's take on the hit MTV show The Hills, entitled Fade Street, has been one of the best-kept secrets in the television world for the past year -- but the Herald can exclusively reveal the stars of the upcoming programme.

The show, which is based around two pals living in an apartment in the title address, will see a handful of the country's up-and-coming catwalk queens carving out a life for themselves in the capital.

The show will focus around Assets beauty Vogue Wilson (24)

from Howth who has been on the social scene for the last number of years -- and follows her as she balances her career on the runway with her part-time job as a DJ.

Joining her is fellow blonde beauty Louise Johnston (24)
Imagefrom Clonskeagh, a familiar face to many of Dublin's VIPs as hostess of Krystle nightclub.

And the model brigade doesn't end there -- also starring in the show is First Option beauty Suzie McAdam (23), from Limerick, alongside Morgan the Agency model Shireen McDonagh (23).

And the final role of unlucky-in-love babe Audrina Patridge is being played by Waterford model Danielle Robinson. The girls have also been given a string of highly coveted internships with Louise and Vogue nabbing a place in Stellar magazine, Danielle working in tattoo studio Dublin Ink, and Shireen and Suzie working with a fashion buyer and music promotion company.

Vogue is no stranger to the spotlight having modelled with a number of the country's top agencies -- and the catwalk queen will be adding her unique DJ talents to the show.

While the details of the show have remained very hush hush before it airs this autumn, cast and crew have been filming around various locations in Dublin. There has already been considerable buzz around the programme, with speculation as to who would land a coveted spot -- but after a number of cast changes and replacements over the last number of months, the Hills are now well and truly alive.

According to the RTE website, viewers should brace themselves for non stop drama -- like their LA counterparts.

"Fade Street is a 12-episode dramatic reality show following the lives of a group of twenty-somethings making their way in Dublin," the website says. An engaging mix of creative and entrepreneurial personalities find themselves negotiating a rollercoaster of real-life drama and big decisions.

"From that first post college job to moving in with a new flatmate not to mention the heady world of young love, this is a show that will entice, excite and engage."

I only just saw this. Well, I saw the ad on the TV the other day but didnt know what it was til I read this.

Cant believe they're making one of these in one of these in Ireland, one of the worst hit countries by the recession! Was The Hills not meant to be about some little rich kids who go off and do all spoilt things and bitch about each other? Knowing the lack of celebrity culture here, I reckon this will just bring a lot of negative criticism on the "stars"!

On the plus, amroks might actually see them filming now that shes moved to Dublin!! :D

I think it would be a success if they picked from a group besides "I think I'm amazing" models!! They wreck my head!
Maybe they should have a show following college students or something like the show they had last year following j1 students..
