After jetting into town to launch TV3's new reality series Style Wars, Caprice ruled out any chance of romance with Blizzards frontman Niall Breslin, whom she described as "gorgeous".
But the blonde model has fallen for the charms of an ordinary Irish guy, who is not involved in the media industry in any way.
Caprice (38) insists that she will be keeping the identity of her mystery man to herself for now, however.
The 5ft 11in supermodel was also quick to quash any rumours that her budding romance is with Australian millionaire and former star of Dragon's Den, Richard Farleigh.
"There may be someone on the scene," she told the Diary when asked about finding love with an Irishman.
"He's not famous. He's just an ordinary guy. He's not a sportsman or an actor or a celebrity of any sort. That's all I'm saying.
"I'm definitely not going out with Niall [Breslin]. He's more than just cute, he's gorgeous but there's nothing happening there. We never even went on a date," she added.
The statuesque beauty, who is currently sporting an impressive shiner under her left eye following a disastrous game of tennis at the weekend, explained how she was still in a lot of pain when she arrived in Dublin yesterday.
But she was determined that she wouldn't let the injury get in the way of her celebrations last night, given that she and her Red Carpet agent Tara Sinnott had a big night planned.
The high-profile pair were keen to let their hair down as they joined mentor on the show Angela Woods, all 10 contestants and Caprice's fellow judges -- fashion designer Peter O'Brien and Aurora chairman Ian Galvin -- for an exclusive screening of the first episode at the Dylan hotel.
And while Caprice was all smiles when it came to catching up with her co-stars at the exclusive launch party, the supermodel admitted that viewers will be surprised when they see her feistier side shine through over the coming weeks.
"I didn't see Celebrity Salon but I'm sure whatever arguments they had are nothing in comparison to some of ours," she laughed.
"There are tensions along the way, a lot. There's a lot of big personalities on the panel and we all had our own opinions. You'll have to wait and see, but I think people will be quite shocked," she laughed.
