The supercool music producer has worked with Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen and most recently The Rumble Strips, and now the Irish boyband want him to work his magic on them.
Stephen said: "I'm waiting for Mark Ronson to give me a call actually," adding: "We'd love to work with Mark and have him produce some of the new songs on the album... We're also looking at Daft Punk."
He explained the band's producer wish list: "We just want to be original, something new and fresh, something people wouldn't expect Boyzone to do so - it's something we're looking into.
"Mark would be just fantastic to do some stuff on the album, I'd like to just collaborate with various different producers so we'll have to wait and see. Hopefully he'll come back and say he has time enough to do it."
The 33-year-old singer also joked that when Boyzone go on tour in May they are considering some "bondage wear" as costumes.
He said: "I think it's really important to be fit and look your best; all five of us need to look our best on stage. Last year we took our tops off on stage and did a routine on treadmills.
"I don't know what way we're going to do topless on stage this year but I'm sure it will happen.
"There are words about some leather outfits happening this year, a bit of bondage...!"
