Loophole lets Aussies make free phone calls through Google

Australians have been able to make free phone calls to landlines and mobiles using a new Google Gmail feature that was only meant to officially launch this week in the US and Canada.

PS3 USB Jailbreak Dongle

Considered the Mt Everest of hacking, the PlayStation 3 has reportedly been broken by a USB Jailbreak dongle produced in Australia.

Xbox caught using PS3 footage for advert

Reddened cheeks in abundance as an Xbox advert for Final Fantasy XIII is revealed as using footage from the PlayStation 3 game. Naughty, naughty!

Exploding mobile phone kills man

AN Indian youth was killed when the Nokia mobile phone he was using exploded.

Manoj Singh, 24, was found dead last night with burns to his left ear, neck and shoulders in a forest near Bandha village close to the city of Kota in the northern Indian state of Rajasthan, The Times of India said.

Volkswagen Beetle runs on poo

A recycling company has modified a Volkswagen Beetle to run on human waste. Called the Bio-Bug, it's powered by methane gas generated during sewage treatment.

Bono buys up Facebook

U2 frontman Bono is hoping to cash in on Facebook by almost doubling his stake in the social networking site.

The singer's private investment company, Elevation Partners, already owns $80 million in shares in the company, but has now upped its stake to a whopping $140 million.
