Hi all,
I purchased Playback about a month ago. I have both the PS3 and the xbox360 and am having loads of problems playing my mp4s on the PS3; the mp4s stutter a ton. On the xbox360, everything works fine.

Initially, the PS3 was wireless and I've tried everything. I have an Apple Time Machine (wireless N router) and the PS3 has been connected to my Mac via the PS3 internal wireless G, a wireless N gaming adapter, and wired. In all three cases, I got stuttering on the PS3.

The fact that this doesn't occur on the xbox (that's a wired connection), leads me to believe that there may be an issue with the PS3. Can anyone help or provide me any additional information?

copy them onto your ps3 harddrive and see if it still stutters. That way you will know it is the streaming or the codec. That should narrow it down a bit.

I had the same issue with Divx/Avi however cabling it instead of wireless resolved the issue.
