The new version of Windows has been announced recently.
From the videos of it, it looks like its basically just Windows Phone 7, except on a PC.
Microsoft are obviously trying to combine features of both.

All very nice but the general tech opinions is that there is very little in it for PC users, yet again to desire upgrading.
It appears to be based mainly for other devices.
