International Rules - Ireland vs Australia

Postby dingo » Sun Oct 03, 2010 5:23 am

I'm looking forward to this!!
First game is in the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick on October 23rd, the second in Croke Park in Dublin on OCtober 30th. I suspect this will be a sell out! Hopefully I'll be able to get tickets myself! :D

I'm not sure if the squads have been released yet, but I can't wait to see how many Dubs get in the squad! ;)
I know Tadgh Kennelly said he'd play for Ireland and Gary Ablett will be playing for the Aussies. No word on the O'hAilpin clan!! ;)

As Far as I know, the Aussie squad wont be released until after the Grand Final, which went to a replay and so has delayed the announcement.

Ireland will be coached by Anthony Tohill, and the Aussies by Mick Malthouse, with his coaching staff of Nathan Buckley, Matthew Lappin and Glen Jakovich.

The last series was held in Australia, and Ireland won both games! More of the same this year, I predict!!

COME ON IRELAND!!!! 8-)

I wouldn't mind going to this myself. I always love watching the games on the tv. Never got to go to one though.
