Eureka tower!!

FACTS:
Height: 300-metres (984 ft)
Building began: August 2002
Building complete: 1 June 2006 - Officially opened 11 October 2006
It is the fourth-tallest residential building in the world, after Q1 located on Queensland's Gold Coast and Ocean Heights and the HHHR Tower, both in Dubai.
It is also currently the building with the most floors available for residential occupancy in the world.
Eureka Tower has 24 carat (100%) gold plated glass windows on the top 10 floors of the building.
The Summit Levels (floors 82 to 87) contain only one apartment per floor: each apartment had an original price tag of A$7 million unfurnished!
The observation deck (Eureka Skydeck 88) occupies the entire 88th floor of the Eureka Tower and is the highest public vantage point in a building in the Southern Hemisphere at 285 m (935 ft)

The tallest residential building in the southern hemisphere! Its 91 storeys/300 metres tall and has a skydeck made entirely of glass! This is not for you if you are afraid of heights!

Its expensive enough to go up, which is compounded by the price of purchasing the photo they take of you in th skydeck. you're looking at about 100 dollars easily if you include the ticket up there and the ticket to actually go out on "The Edge" and then the price of buying the photo they take of you.

Its best to get a day pass though. The Eureka skydeck needs to be viewed both in the day time and the night time

The above photo overlooks the whole of the city facing east. At the bottom of the pic, you can see Federation Square.

This is definately a must see for anyone going to Melbourne!
